Der Yid דער איד
Der Yid is a New York Yiddish weekly founded in 1953, widely read across the Chasidic world.
Edit / add infoDer Yid is a nonprofit New York-based Yiddish weekly, widely read in the Yiddish-speaking Haredi community and written in the Yiddish common to Satmar Chasidim rather than academic "YIVO Yiddish." It was founded in 1953 by Aaron Rosmarin as a fortnightly; he had been an editor at Der Morgn-Zhurnal, writing columns on rabbis and Jewish customs, and started his own paper after the Zhurnal was bought out that year.
