Fix / add information

Nechemya son of Chachalya was cupbearer to the Persian king Artaxerxes in Shushan. Hearing that Jerusalem's walls lay broken, he fasted and prayed, and the king let him go rebuild the city (Nechemya 1–2).

Despite enemies — Sanballat, Toviah and their men — the Jews built the walls, 'one hand doing the work and one holding a weapon', finishing in 52 days (4:11; 6:15). He also strengthened Shabbos observance and helped the poor (chs. 5, 13).
