Kiryas Tosh is a Hasidic community in Boisbriand, Quebec, near Montreal, Canada, home to about 2,055 people per the 2021 census.
It is named for the town of Tash, Hungary (now Nyírtass), near the Slovak and Ukrainian borders, where the Tosher Rebbes held court. The community was founded in 1963 by the Tosher Rebbe, Rabbi Meshulim Feish Lowy, who had come to Montreal in 1951. Seeking a place for Torah study away from city influences, he moved to Boisbriand with 18 families. The community has grown greatly since.
