Yissachar יששכר

Yissachar was born to Yaakov and Leah (Bereishis 30:17–18). Yaakov blessed him: 'Yissachar is a strong-boned donkey... he bent his shoulder to bear' (49:14–15).

The verse says the sons of Yissachar 'had understanding of the times, to know what Israel should do' (I Divrei HaYamim 12:33). Rashi brings that Zevulun traded and supported Yissachar, who sat and learned (Rashi Devarim 33:18) — the famous Yissachar-Zevulun partnership.
