Uman – Rosh Hashana at Rebbe Nachman's Tziyun אומאן – ראש השנה ביים רבי'ן

Uman, Ukraine, is the resting place of Rebbe Nachman of Breslov. Each Rosh Hashana tens of thousands of Jews travel there for the "kibbutz," the great Rosh Hashana gathering at his tziyun; Breslov sources put it upwards of 60,000, including many prominent rabbis and personalities. Once ridiculed, the trip now draws many who are not Breslover chassidim, seeking a spiritual boost for the new year.
