Rabbi Shais Taub ר' שי טויב

Rabbi Shais Taub is an American Chasidic rabbi and author. Raised in Chicago, he grew closer to Judaism as a teen and studied at the Central Lubavitch Yeshiva in Crown Heights, where he received semicha. He began leading a recovery group for Jewish men at the Milwaukee Chabad House in 2006 and in 2009 published "God of Our Understanding: Jewish Spirituality and Recovery from Addiction," relating Jewish principles to 12-step programs. He writes on Jewish mysticism and is a weekly columnist for Ami Magazine.
