Naftali was the second son of Yaakov and Bilhah and father of the tribe of Naftali.
Fix / add informationNaftali was born to Yaakov and Bilhah (Bereishis 30:7–8). Yaakov blessed him: 'Naftali is a hind let loose, giving goodly words' (49:21).
The tribe of Naftali received its portion in the north, by the Kinneret (Yehoshua 19:32–39). Barak son of Avinoam was from Kedesh Naftali (Shoftim 4:6).
