Kedem קדם

Kedem is a kosher food and beverage company known for its kiddush grape juice, New York wines and Kedem Tea Biscuits. Established as Royal Wine Corporation in June 1948 and run by the Herzog family since 1958, it traces back to a Herzog winery in Czechoslovakia that supplied Emperor Franz Joseph. The Nazis seized the winery; the family survived in hiding and emigrated to the U.S. after the 1948 coup. Kedem sells over a million cases of wine and grape juice a year in sixteen countries, is based in Bayonne, NJ, with vineyards in Marlboro, NY. Sister brand Kedem Foods is part of Kayco.
