Bnei Brak is a city on Israel's central coastal plain just east of Tel Aviv and a center of Haredi Judaism. Covering only about 709 hectares, it had a population of 229,996 in 2024, making it Israel's most densely populated city and among the densest in the world. Its name recalls the biblical town and the sages "reclining in Bnei Brak" in the Haggadah.
