Bein Hazmanim בין הזמנים

Bein Hazmanim ("between the times") is the vacation period in yeshivos between the three zmanim (semesters): Elul, winter and summer. It generally falls around the major holidays, and students leave the yeshiva setting; many communities organize special learning programs so the time is not lost.
