Thursday, 11 Cheshvan (Oct 22), is the yahrtzeit of Rochel Imeinu. She is buried on the road to Efrat near Beis Lechem; Rashi explains that Yaakov buried her there so that when the Jews would pass by on the way to exile she would plead for them, and Hashem answers "your children shall return to their border". Every year thousands come to Kever Rochel on the yahrtzeit to say Tehillim; those who cannot travel say Tehillim from afar.
