Rabbi Yaakov Galinsky, the Maggid הגה"צ ר' יעקב גלינסקי זצ"ל – דער מגיד

Rabbi Yaakov Yitzchak Galinsky was born on January 8, 1921 and passed away on January 23, 2014. A product of Yeshivas Novardok in Bialystok, he was described as "one of the last maggidim remaining in our generation".

Diminutive in stature but towering in personality, he kept crowds enthralled, traveling to immigrant towns throughout Israel to awaken hearts with stories, warmth and wit.
