Karlin-Stolin קארלין-סטאלין

History of the Dynasty

The Karlin-Stolin dynasty was founded in Belarus by Rebbe Aaron ben Jacob of Karlin. It served as one of the first centers of Hasidism in Lithuania, and many other Hasidic groups in the region are considered its offshoots. The movement later expanded to the nearby town of Stolin.

Post-War Growth

Following the destruction of many followers during the Holocaust, the dynasty successfully rebuilt itself. Today, Karlin-Stolin has a presence in Israel, the United States, Russia, England, Canada, and Ukraine. Various offshoots, such as Pinsk-Karlin, continue to preserve the traditions of the dynasty.
