Baruch Levine (born December 28, 1977) was raised in Toronto, where he attended Eitz Chaim Day School (his father, Rabbi Michoel Levine, teaches there) and later Ner Yisroel in Toronto and the Toras Moshe and Mir yeshivas in Jerusalem.

He began singing at 8 in his school choir and as a boy sang on Abie Rotenberg's children's story album "The Golden Crown". After marrying he moved to Waterbury, Connecticut, where he has taught at the Yeshiva Ketana since 2005, and began writing songs for other performers. His best-known composition, "Vezakeini", based on the prayer said at Shabbos candle-lighting, is a staple at Shabbos tables and kumzitzes.
