New on Kosher Phones: TAG Protect Blocks AI Calls and Texts ניי ביי כשר'ע טעלעפאנען: TAG פראטעקט בלאקירט AI רופן און טעקסטס

We thought a kosher phone was safe. Calls and texts, done. But now there are numbers you call and talk to AI, or you send a text and a machine answers. My neighbor's bochur already found one of those numbers, and his father wasn't thrilled.

So there's something new, TAG Protect. According to Smart Connections, a filter shop that sets it up, it blocks calls and texts to AI numbers and other problem numbers, right on the phone. It has nothing to do with internet filtering, it's just for calls and texts.

Which phones? The list changes a lot. On the June 2026 list you'll find, among others, the TCL T408DL (KosherTek), Sunbeam with the TAG logo, the Mishpucha Phone and the Fusion F2. Others, like FIG and Wonder Phone, need the latest updates.

Two things to know. The phone needs data on the SIM, otherwise the updates don't come in. And if you want to test your line, you can call 732-385-0968.

The official list is at protect.tag.org.

Not sure? Stop by your filter guy. A minute of asking beats a shailah later.
