О Шуки Педии

Shuki Pedia is an encyclopedia and media platform about the Hasidic world: dynasties, Rebbes, communities, history, customs and stories — together with the videos from our YouTube channel and finds from the Yiddish press.

How we write

• Every fact is checked against a source, and the sources are listed at the bottom of each page.
• Oral traditions and stories not confirmed in written sources are clearly marked. Where sources disagree, we show both sides.
• We never copy articles from other sites: we write our own summary, with clear credit and a link to the original.
• We only use images that are free to use (public domain or Creative Commons), credited to the photographer.
• Videos play directly from YouTube (embedded); we never re-upload them.
