Раввин Й.Й. Джейкобсон הרב יוסף יצחק (YY) יעקבסאן

Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak (YY) Jacobson was born on June 11, 1972, in Crown Heights to journalist Gershon Jacobson, and studied at Oholei Torah and Tomchei Temimim at 770.

In 1990, at 17, he joined the team of chozrim who memorized and transcribed the Lubavitcher Rebbe's hours-long Shabbos and Yom Tov talks. In 2005 he became editor-in-chief of the Yiddish weekly Algemeiner Journal, following his father, and taught Talmud, Kabbalah and Chasidus at Chovevei Torah in Crown Heights and in Monsey.

He is one of the most sought-after speakers in the Jewish world; his classes on the parsha, holidays and Chasidus are shared through TheYeshiva.net and his YouTube channel with thousands of videos.
