Yoely Lebovits (the "Pester Rebbe") יואלי לעבאוויטש – דער "פעסטער רבי"

Yoely Lebovits, popularly called the "Pester Rebbe", is one of the best-known badchanim and comedians in the Chasidic world, performing at weddings, sheva brachos, fundraisers and concerts; his imitation of Hungarian Jews is a crowd favorite.

In a 2014 Mishpacha interview he described Purim as his special season: when he writes new material, records the Purim segment for the Yiddish news hotline Kol Mevaser (then for the ninth year), and visits Purim seudahs and hospital patients to bring simcha. In 2009 he performed at the COLlive first-anniversary concert on Kingston Avenue in Crown Heights alongside Benny Friedman and Beri Weber. He has released comedy albums, and clips like his "Economic Address" circulate widely.
