Mordechai Shapiro מרדכי שפירא

Mordechai Shapiro was born on December 9, 1989, in Monsey, New York; his father is a chazzan. After high school he studied at Yeshiva Netiv Aryeh and Yeshivas Bais Yisroel.

He debuted in 1997 as star soloist of the Miami Boys Choir, performing as a child alongside singers like Yaakov Shwekey, and left in 2003 when his voice changed. Producer Yitzy Waldner signed him in 2016; his album "Kol Haderech" reached #15 on Billboard's World Music chart, followed by "Machar" (2017, #3) and "Hakol Mishamayim" (2019, #7). The "Hakol Mishamayim" video has over 14 million YouTube views.
