Menachem Toker מנחם טוקער

Menachem Toker is one of the best-known Haredi broadcasters in Israel. Born in Holland to an American father, he grew up in the religious Jerusalem neighborhood of Bayit Vegan and studied in yeshiva. At 16 he talked his way into a radio station; when Kol Hai launched two years later, he was given a daily afternoon show and became one of the first known Orthodox radio presenters, later adding a Saturday-night music show featuring male performers. In 2011 he began hosting the TV talk show "Toker Beshishi". He is also known as a music director and talent scout with an ear for new Jewish singers, and says his mission is to show Judaism in a positive light and bring Jews closer together. He runs the YouTube channel Toker FM.
